Before I clean this coin any further I was wondering if anyone would hazard a guess as to what this coin is, please?

Thank-you, Echizento.
I thought that I could see a (Parthian type) face in the first picture, but that may have been 'wishful thinking' on my part.
I may have to put this into my "coins to experiment with different cleaning processes" pile.
I don't think that there is a hidden gem under the 'crud'.

It appears to be made of lead, whatever it is. Perhaps a seal or token of some kind.

I know why you think it is Parthian I can kind of sea a right facing Eastern Style bust. Maybe a ruler of Chach of the 1st cent BC? Just guesses but maybe the best you can get.

Good comments all - For it's size the weight would allow it to be made of lead.
If it was lead, would it have the (dark) green patina that it does have?
