I have been checking out my mothers things and have found several of these tokens. I am not sure about them but have been told they were used a long time ago and even had a woman remember them from her childhood but she does not remember anything besides that. I am trying to find out about them and someone else said he was a member of AVA and they could be a rare find. I am just looking for any information I can find. Thank You

Greetings my fellow Tennessean!

Transit tokens sometimes are quite common and other times kinda rare. Lemme do some digging and I'll see if I can find some online to kinda give ya a price estimate

Hello and welcome to the forum!

I saw you mention AVA(American Vecturist Association) in your post. A vecturist is a collector of transportation tokens from buses, trains, and subways. Here is a link to a page run by a member of the AVA- he might have some info for you http://www.exonumist.com/

I recently picked up a couple of transit tokens. I thought they looked cool. Any ones in particular I should keep an eye out for?
