According to Lateefah Simms, Public Affairs Specialist in the United States Mints Office of Corporate Communications, the Mint has officially sold out of the 2015 America the Beautiful Homestead National Monument five ounce silver bullion coin. As of March 31, http://www.usmint.gov shows a total bullion sales / mintage figure of 35,000.

Awww... Didn't get to buy one! Oh well, the secondary market might be cheaper in a few years...

Since the Mint doesn't sell bullion pucks direct to the public, it really doesn't mean much in the short term that they are "sold out".

The coins are still available from the same bullion dealers. Yes, as with other products they will run out eventually...

It should be noted that while the mint sold out of bullion Homestead pucks, they still have the uncirculated Homestead-P pucks for sale (although on backorder) on the Mint web site.

Like Foxwoods said, bullion dealers (i.e., secondary market) will still have them until they themselves sell out of their stock. APMEX still has these for sale on their web site, for instance. Because the bullion pucks were never available from the mint directly to the public, the only option for these guys is always the secondary market.
