it could be an RPM but it looks more like a MD to me. all I see is the mint mark though. on you scan of the top of the eagle I see nothing out of the ordinary

Again mechanically doubled. Nothing unusual. And whoever had them before scuffed them up somehow. That turns them into bullion coins. $2.20 for this one too, I'm afraid.
