I noticed that when I click on send note to staff right after I get those darn Chinese letters  Just a FYI. John1

Mozilla Firefox. I think I am going to try using IE for a bit and see what happens. John1

on Tools menu, select Options, select content tab, when click on languages Choose button, what's it show?
EDIT - mine shows that English/United States [en-us] is first

It reads en-us. I am on IE and CCF runs a lot slower then on Firefox. I will use IE for a few days just to see how it goes. John1

Just updated Chrome and WOW does CCF run fast on Chrome.Hope there isn't any wierd letters here. John1

I avoid IE like the plague. Most of my browsing is on Chrome, and then on Firefox if I need to test something.
Let us know if you still see the problem on Chrome!

I was on Chrome just now and clicked on send note to staff and guess what...yup those crazy letters.It happened on Firefox and now on Chrome.Also just noticed it says report post when it use to read send note to staff. John1

OK, I found it. The word is "encoding." As you read this, click the right button once. You'll see a drop-down menu. Find 'encoding' and click the button. Now, notice which code is selected. Western European (ISO) shows on my computer. BUT, Unicode is used to display every kind of characters from any kind of alphabet. Change (if selected) Unicode to Western European (ISO)
