I like the idea of adding on to the coins design by encapsulating it in a bar.

That's way overprice for the Panda! APMEX has it for $199.99, and I am surprise that its readily available after 2 years. I remembered when it first came out it was priced at $299+.

I would buy it if were from the Perth Mint. However, the listing indicates the bar is not from the Perth Mint.

Looks like a gimmick to me. Sure the idea is pretty neat, heck why didnt they do that for somalian elephants,,,, is anyone listening lol... but anyways...

I would say this set was/is a bust based on Mac's comments which back up my initial thought which was: "wait, this is 2015 and they are doing 2013's?...

on top of it, from my perspective and experience, buying coins that are already lower in price than initial offerings continue to drop lower so I wouldnt be surprised we see these drop even lower in price in the near future.

I guess these have been out for a while and are selling for around $200 or less. APMEX has them for 200.....ebay sold some for less.....so the price in the link is a high price...

Seriously, am I missing something? $88.00 an ounce for a 2oz bar and a 1oz Panda ? Is the cool factor really worth that much of a premium?
