I mean, it's bid up to over $300! and it seems to me, it is easy to make a comparison by way of the web; to me it looks to be a fairly bad copy!

This is an illigal item anyway, even if the desc. says its fake. A coin HAS to be punched with "Copy" for it to be legal to sell as a fake coin.
