I found a 2002 d cent that has no edge. I mean that its not raised at all and its silver around it. Any clue about this.

By it not having a raised edge around the perimeter this probably means that it used to but it was scraped away by a shotgun wrapper roller. try scraping off the copper layer from a Lincoln Cent, it should be silver/grey under neath.
