I saw an opportunity here. An empty hole in the book, and some minor verdigris. Distilled water soak for 1 day, then acetone soak for 1 day. That didn't do much, but when I used the Verdicare, the surface verdigris became very workable, and seemed to turn to muck which was easily removed with a little toothpick work.

The first link is sellers listing and photos, (coin was actually darker than sellers photos,) then my photos. My photos aren't the sharpest, but the color is very close to how it looks in-hand. I know this isn't the grading forum, but is there any chance at a F12, the LI in LIBERTY is visible, or am I living with a VG10? Ed.

Looks good Ed! I'll go with F-12 all day. Fabulous price for a 67.
Rest in Peace

Cleaned up nice. but you need all letters of LIBERTY to somewhat show to be called fine. IMO VG-10.

I'd need better pictures but I would have some problems calling VG-8. Unless there is more of the LIBERTY showing than I think there is I would call it a G-6.

Thanks. The reverse is really nice, all lines on the shield are there. I'll admit the obverse could be VG08, but no worse, so maybe a net 10.
