It looks legit. Just depends on how much one wants to spend on that one coin, 'cause that's all they're gettin'
Clearly a put together roll.

The coin is legit. The roll is not.

This roll of coins needs to be measured for length to determine the number of coins in the roll, then the roll weighed, and be compared with X* x 4.18 grams
X-Ray testing essential.
Bid melt + whatever premium you think is reasonable, if you are interested. $Bid = (X* x 4.18 grams x .900 fine) x (melt value / oz.) + P* 31.1036
X* = number of coins in roll, P* = premium you think is reasonable
Note you must be able to check the roll lenth personally, and to weigh the whole roll personally. Do the industrial X-Ray testing for myself. (I would really want to know the length of the 'bank plug', and it's composition. (due diligence)
Forget the whole lot otherwise.

Assuming the seller is being reasonably honest in his dishonesty [wrap your mind around THAT for a minute]
What you will get is a single 2.5$ Gold of a common year in low grade with a high probability that it's been cleaned and/or ex jewelry... so it's essentially bullion. Melt is about 145.45
Plus 47 or 48 common date low grade circulated wheat cents. Worth, whatever ? 10c/ each?

If you don't like that roll, he has many others with gold coins showing on the end. What a very lucky person he must be!

If you actually read his auctions, this is the first thing you see: Quote: Please keep in mind that unless otherwise stated in the description, WYSIWYG (What you see is what you get). Bid for the end coins and consider everything else in the roll to be a bonus surprise. If you bid in this fashion no one will feel slighted or that they got their hopes up. :-) That's reasonably honest. I still don't like it, but he tells it exactly like it is.

Genuine. One just has to bid accordingly on this unopened original roll!
