MS63-64? Nice looking cent. Are you starting to head into the twenties for BU?

Kind of, I saw this today when I visited my shop...it just came in. I couldn't resist it for $30. Both experts were there today and they gave it MS65, borderline MS64. They looked at it only in-hand and I used a loupe (of course)....there was some haggling involved. They started at $55, which is below MS65 CDN bid. I told them I wanted the MS64 price because of the temple hit, they like me, so they gave it to me for $33....then I wrangled them down another $3+ by buying a couple more coins and rounding off my total purchase to $40. LOL

Thad,

Very nice! Other than the temple hit this is a beautiful example. I would say MS-65, definitely nothing below a 64. A slight scratch under the P in PLURIBUS and the beauty marks n the reverse are negligible.
