Oooh, that's the easy part, I collect already more then 20 years, worldcoins, by type and year, there fore I have the well known Krause catalogs from 1601-date, for european coins several books and catalogs that I swapped with fellow collectors here in europe, I've got the Coincraft's standard Catalogue for british coins sinds 1066, several german catalogs, auction books, those have a lot of pictures, books with Latin Legends for Coins, etc etc....... When you want to know the history of coins, AND the coin related items, like mints, mintplaces, way of storage, trading and swapping, shipping, conserving and so on, you need to start with a library, how else can you otherwise start? At the moment I almost finished the lovely job of overlisting my 1900 till date coins from the 29th in the 32 edition of the krause, so, every page in the book is turned over and schecked, if there are coins marked on that I have to list in my new book, every page in the new book is checked, so if things are changed, that I check if how and if I got one of them........ But becouse I use my catalogs a lot, it's not so difficult to know where a coin comes from. It's just a little knowledge. Greetings, Carl
