pick up two new coins in the last week, both are solid examples of their type.

this little provincial coin..

O: Elagabalus laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right

R: Nike standing left, and Elagabalus standing right holding spear, they erect a trophy of captured arms with two bound captives at the base

this coin has very pretty surfaces, nice and glossy black. just couldn't get a pic to come out right.
