I do not know sliver coins but will take a stab at it, EF50 details maybe cleaned? I think I see some hairlines in the reverse where it was cleaned.

I would agree with the AU designation. On these Columbian halfs look first at the sails on the reverse. MS examples have complete, unbroken vertical lines in the sails. The center of the sails are the highest point and wear first.
