I have a no date large cent and 1866 Shield nickel with rotation errors, around 2 o'clock rotation. This is common with these old coins?

I'm guessing you're meaning 2:00 when it should be Noon, right? That degree of rotation is interesting but not uncommon and probably not value-added for those coins. You really want to reach 90 degrees to grab attention with a rotation.

Yeh, I am thinking it is like a 30 degree rotation.

I don't know about a Shield nickel but as far as a large cent is concerned it would have to be 90 degrees off to be of any real value. Die rotation used to happen all the time in the early mint. Now if it's a full 180 it's considered "medal turn" and worth a bit more.
