SeatedNut Pillar of the Community United States 2797 Posts	Posted 12/06/2007 08:22 am Jim, If it is not slabbed by one of the ebay recognized TPGs (PCGS, NGC, ANACS, and ICG), you can not assign a numerical grade in the title/subtitle or list it as certified. I believe you are free to do so in the text of your comments. You can use MS, BU, AU, XF, etc. I think this is best for the hobby. Let's face it, 99% of the non-recognized TPG grades are fantasies. We've had truth in advertising statutes on the books for many years to protect consumers. This is a bit of a twist on that, but if the basement TPGs want to be legit, they need to clean up their act before entering a courtroom, IMHO. I'm not a lawyer but as a private business I (would think) ebay has the right to recognize, or not, whoever they see fit. And either way I doubt any "grader" would want to draw even more attention... with a lawsuit that basically says, "Why does ebay consider us a POS company?"
