Without being able to see closer pics I would give a conditional XF-40. The strike is good. I see a few scratches and some spotting. It might go lower if there are problems that I can't see in these pics. I would say though that the color is interesting. It kind of has that chocolate look that some of Nancye913 Lincolns have.

I got this from H.J Berk...it was graded as AU50. It is raw..thats why I was asking for opinions. Thanks everyone

Tim, it's a nice coin. I was a bit harsh with the grade, mainly because of the reverse.

I might have been too harsh with my grade also. I was originally thinking 40-50. You know what they say: Hindsight is 20-20.

The coin is a text book EF-45 .

once the cheek, jaw and above the ear show enough wear to exhibit flatness there is no way it can be graded AU.

I agree with Metalman that this one is out of AU territory. My grade of XF-40 is based on what I can see in your pictures and was conditional. What I see might not be there and I might go XF-45. Send it to me and I will examine it closer.

Regardless of what I or any others say, you need to be satisfied with your purchase. I very much like the coin and am jealous.
