We have searched this one every couple of months. I Tried out my new coil today and I am very pleased with the results. We think the child's ring is real gold but I don't know if the stone is real. I have been thinking about getting one since the ground is so hard around here. Don't know if it would be worth the extra cost. I thought the real gold all was stamped stating what it was. nohope587 Pillar of the Community United States 5953 Posts	Posted 12/07/2007 10:10 pm Its got something behind the stone but I can't read it. Its some kind of hall mark. The ring is tiny it would have had to be for a baby. It took me a while to find the sweet spot for pinpointing on the new coil but it covers twice the area of my original one and gives solid hits at 8 plus inches. Report this Post to the Staff
