Too many children out playing to really search but half an hour around a pocket park gave us these.

That's a nice little haul for only one half hour. I see you said us. You go out looking with a partner? I tried it a couple of times but didn't work out. Digging a hundred holes and getting a buck or two was not to exciting for him. Always ended up taking him home early and going back. Not worth the hassle of taking him with.

My Wife started as a detector moll now she has her own machine so its something of a contest. One of us divides an area up and the other choses which half they are going to search. She usually does better than me on the coin front but then she sets here machine to coins only. I like to dig everything... I would not have found the earing if I had my discriminator set to coins only...

Hi nohope

Nice little haul of modern coins ,,do you have a total for all the coins you have found so far ?

There is a happy medium for the settings ,, coin and jewelry which is basically just setting your discrimination to reject ferous metals(nails) and accept all others .

you may find a few more pulltabs but it will also tone on silver and gold as well as coins.

HH

That is so cool that you go out with your wife to detect. You're a lucky man.
Nice total on the finds.
