Hi everyone, I was just wondering if anyone could recommend a good book for error coins. I collect modern coinage for the most part (1900's) but never really got into error coins.

I also hear people saying of I found this die crack or Cud blah blah in change but never know what they are talking about. So if anyone knows of a good book or some kind of knowledge source please let me in it, it would be most appreciated. (Oh and pictures are always great in them!)

The Official Price Guide to Mint Errors by Alan Herbert is a good book that has a lot information about how Mint errors occur and has pictures of what to look for. The cover price is only $15 and is well worth the money.

do you have a copy of the RedBook? I think there is a picture and description of most common errors in there.
