Hello, I was told by someone that this was a 1913 Variety 1 Raised Ground Buffalo nickel. You can't read the date on the coin. Can anyone help me out?

Yes ...it is a 1913 TY 1 nickel

Yep, it most definitely is. It looks like a P mint, which would be the most common, but tough to tell from that pic and with that much wear.
