Ive done some research on a 1983P US Quarter that I found but have found conflicting info... Some say its a rare year with that mint mark... Anyone want to give me some insight on their opinion of this coins rarity? or possible value? Thanks so much

1983P quarters are not rare as almost 700 million were minted. However, it is a conditional rarity in uncirculated grades. The reason for mint state rarity is due to the suspension of Mint Set sales for 1982 and 1983(a natural reservoir for nice unc coins) and a general lack of saving rolls and bags.

I used to save them from roll hunting based on values from Red Book, but the values are garbage for any that are circulated, they are worth a quarter. But like others said they are a conditional rarity. I sold mine for like $23 but it was not circulated nor was it graded by a TPG.
