My ex-wife is asking me if I know where to find these things. The trick is that I bought her a set a long time ago and it came with each state in an individual package that showed information about the state and that sort of thing. So it wasn't tubed coins, nor was it single coins in a plastic holder with nothing else on it. It's easy to find them this way. But for the life of me I cannot find these State Quarters packaged like I am looking for. Does anyone have any idea what I'm talking about here? I wish I had a picture to post.

I have seen so many different ways of individual companies selling the State Quarters and then the mint packaging them in various ways also there are just way to many to keep up with all of them. I am not familiar with the specific type of packaging you are asking about though but there may be someone here that knows who packaged these this way and can maybe be able to tell you where you can find them at still
Rest in Peace

I think I know what you mean.

My credit union has had such a product each time a new quarter is issued.

You might try nearby credit unions and see if they have them.

The trick is she needs them for the last 5 years or so. Just getting the ones currently issued, even in the "correct" packaging, won't quite cut it. :(

ewwww with the older issues you may have to try other venues like maybe ebay or something like that where someone has a few of them and selling off their duplicates, but this may take some time to get the whole set this way and will probably cost more than the set did when they were released because of shipping and stuff

Edit: one good thing I see is that she is a "ex-wife" so someone else will have to pay the extra to get the rest of the ones she doesn't have

Riptide, Please don't be offended, but Why doesn't the "EX" ask the current "care-taker" if he knows. I have never had that kind of contact with my "EX's", so it is a bit out of my line..
Bruce, I like your avatar! I think she is the cutest thing to come down the pike in a long time!

Sometimes divorces are friendly and the ex is still a good friend.

We could possibly help a little more if we could see an example of one of the holders you are looking for. I also may be possible that they just aren't available. A lot of companies jumped in and created all kinds of holders when the State Quarters first came out. A lot of those companies lost interest early on and stopped producing the holders after the first X number of coins came out.
