My father gave me some GSA Morgan's in the original government holders. I'd like to get more but don't want to look on ebay. Any other suggestions on where to look? Dates don't matter right now and I'd really like the feeling of opening some never opened boxes before. Thoughts?

There are a lot of places you can find them, however I would recommend Northern Nevada Coins - http://www.brokencc.com

Not an endorsement because I've never dealt with them, but I see that Netherlands Rare Coins (Staten Island, NY) is currently advertising unopened boxed GSA's for $335 apiece.

Your first task - if you haven't already- is to become comfortable with evaluating and grading them yourself, as well as figuring their worth in grade. Then, Google is your friend with regard to finding them at retail outlets. A second step in Google - vetting the vendor - should give you a fair idea of the quality of the dealer, and we stand ready to offer anything we know about any given dealer. I'm suggesting this because there are probably (pulled out of my head) 150 perfectly good places to buy them online. Frankly, ebay is among the best due to their sheer volume, and the talents you're going to use to find those other vendors are equally applicable to evaluating ebay sellers. Just don't overcomplicate. If it looks funny to you, you're almost certainly right.

I second the recommendation of Northern Nevada Coin. They specialize in "CC" coinage.

I could be wrong, but unless the boxes look like these, they're not unopened. You're prolly better off buying what you can see.

I am skeptical on unopened box stuff, IMO. Too much room for a ripoff in it. Just my 2 cents.

You're correct, and I hadn't noted that. What he wants is to gamble with his money, then. Something I would neither do myself, nor ever advise here at CCF.

May I suggest looking into Southgate Coins in Reno, NV. Owned and operated by Rusty Goe. IMO, he is one of the best authorities on Carson City coinage. And has a large inventory of GSA dollars. 5032 S. VIRGINIA ST. RENO, NV 89502 (775) 322-4455

GSA CC coins are a huge ripoff. Why do I say that? They have been propped up by dealers, and buyers who paid outrageous prices for them, now have to continue to prop them up so they don't lose money. CC morgans are a fad, wait a few years and the prices will come down. Remember the Mint released millions of these.
Another thing is that there are many non-CC morgans that have less mintage and less in good condition then many of the CC from the GSA. Yet those prices are nearly as high as the CC ones.
And let me be clear, I don't normally collect Morgans. The only time I buy them is on a whim. I think I have 5 total, and non in slabs..

It's quite clear, because you're missing a fundamental truth known to all Morgan collectors: Everyone wants Carson City Morgans. Dealers aren't in collusion against us. We set the prices with our demand. Dealers can't influence the outcome of an auction.
