Funny how someone else found one. I just found this one. If you find one like this the reverse is rotated so if you flip it over it is in the same direction as the other side. It also does not say one dollar. Funny!

Looks exactly like the one in the other thread.Notice the legs of the eagle looks like a cartoon. Where did you find it?

The absent denomination marking suggests to me that this might be one of those cheesy "tribute" coins that are periodically marketed as opposed to a counterfeit per se.

What does the edge of the coin look like? The one I saw on ebay was reeded and you could see a copper core like a quarters edge

Reeded and nice shiny copper showing through. Weighs 8.8 grams.
