Hi all,

I'm wondering if anyone can recommend me a good album for storing Newfoundland coins? I've done a bit of searching but can't seem to find anything.

I use Gardmaster albums for my Canadian coins which I am a huge fan of. Ideally I'd be able to find something along those lines.

It doesn't necessarily have to be branded for Newfoundland coins (I don't think something like that exists from my search); a generic or untitled album would be just fine.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Nobody makes one currently, which leaves searching for an obsolete one on the Internet. I acquired a new Whitman Newfoundland Type on ebay just last week but it took me a couple of years to find one that wasn't exorbitantly priced.

One was available on ebay a few months back for $79 - too rich for my blood so I waited.

FYI, there's no hole for the two dollar coin in the Whitman album.

Thanks justanother. That's what I figured!

Do you have any recommendations for a generic album or something else I could use?

You could use 2x2 and get a 2x2 blank album for them if they fit in 2x2

I use the 2x2s and the blank binder sheets for my Newfoundland collection. I enjoy it much more than the Gardmaster I have for my small cent collection and will most likely switch my small cent collection over to the same set up soon.

The other benefit is that I believe the ICCS flips fit within the 2x2 sheets.

I have a few ICCS coins and they don't fit in my sheets, so I just tape them on.

Shoot, I thought they did!

Do you Red Green them in there with some quality duct tape? It seems un-Canadian to do it any other way.

Mine is a vintage Whitman #9514, no hole for the gold.

You can buy sheets made to fit these, but the regular 2x2 wont work.

The ICCS flips will fit in the 12-pocket (2.5x2.5) binder pages, as mentioned above.
