Nice finds everyone, I placed an order Tuesday hopefully they will come in tomorrow. I should have never started now I can't stop. I started marking the rims to see if I am getting them back. I noticed others have marked the inner ear with a black dot, or one of the O's in Dollar. I haven't seen any come back yet. Have any of you marked coins to see if you are getting them back? Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. Hope you all find a bunch of silver in the New Year.

coinsrus1000, The subject of marking coins has been discussed more than I can count. The same product that removes a mark from a coin would be needed to remove the sticker residue and finger prints after sticker removal. Pure acetone. You'll find people that fall on both sides of the mark/don't mark coins. You're unlikely to change many opinions. I think the best you can do is encourage people to mark/sticker average or common coins.

I searched one of my four boxes last night before I went to bed. When I opened the box I could see three silver coins on three different rolls. I pulled out my first roll and there were six 40%ers in that first roll. I had a feeling it was going to be a good box. This is my best box to date. I pulled eight 90%, fifty-two 40%, one proof and one holed. If I get skunked on the next three boxes it will still have been worth it.

1 63 Franklin, 7 64 Kennedys, 2 65's, 5 66's, 26 67's, 16 68's, and 3 69's, 1 76 Proof, and one holed.

Run into some bad luck boxes recently. I had 4 boxes from 3 different branches and 2 different banks and came up with ZERO silver. Had my monthly order come in at another branch and they gave me a $500 bag of what I think were searched.
Has anyone been given a bag instead of a box?

I picked up 2 boxes from a local bank that never has any halves. Ended up with one '64 and fourteen 40%. I also found my best 1987-D so far.

When I dropped them off at the coin counter I found 4 silver Roosevelts in the reject tray. '62, '63, '64 and a '58 that looks like it was made yesterday. Nice week.

Nothing real special, but I did find a 1970-D and 1964 Kennedy's.

On my way to pick up 4 more boxes this morning. I will be busy this evening. Great way to end the year. Trying to get to my first $1000 in silver before the end of the year. Happy searching!

Yes, I was given 4 sealed bags 2 weeks ago,
1 of them had silver in it.
I'm wondering if this will be a new trend it will
save them boxes and rolling expenses.
