I have been going to this one bank for quite a long time without ever getting silver. Last week thet had a bunch of rolls picked up some nice ones.

One of my Wells Fargo branches was very hesitant recently to dole out CWR of dimes since they "can't guarantee" what's in them as you are experiencing (likely due to complaints of short rolls). This came back to bite me in the backside just yesterday as I took in $80 of dime CWR that were short 2-5 dukes PER ROLL (at a different branch).
I used to have an issue with one of my branches too, so I started bringing a slim scale with me... A roll of dimes should weigh a min. of 113 grams... if it is less than that, it is short. I would always weigh them before putting them into my bank bag... if they were short, they got returned to the teller and replaced (or corrected). One time, I had a group of nickels where it was literally every roll being a coin short... same for quarters (this is the most common abuse)... it's harder to pull on halves, actually as a short roll will stand out more.
CRH Nickeloholic. 1,600,000 nickels searched in eight years! Have found FOUR complete Jefferson sets!

Speaking of a few posts back, this little happy hour search today came from a Wells Fargo. I'm not an account holder there (though I briefly once had a Wachovia account before it merged many years ago), but I still managed to search $50 in CWR. 8 1964s and 32 40% Silvers, plus a 1973-S impaired proof helped me manage the slow traffic home a little bit better today. One of the five rolls had 19 out of 20 silvers.
