ASLAN, I bet that made it feel like a long search then normal. Getting the same coins roll after roll, after roll. I am with you on the THRILL of the Hunt. Every time I see that beautiful white edge it really gets me excited and to keep searching. I have been lucky, since I have been picking up 8 boxes a week I haven't been skunked, I have pulled at least 2 to 4 silver coins and much better. I only wish I started this sooner. That is too many NIFC 1980D's to count
Did you mean to say uncirculated? The 1980-D was definitely issued for circulation.

Glossy almost mirror finish, edges sharp enough to cut yourself. They have never been circulated for certain, but they seem like a special order for collectors only that ended up in the CRH population, and have never been split up. Until now, I hope!

I'm going to dump them at my 2nd bank and hope they end up jetting to places unknown, in multiple different bags.

Uncirculated, most certainly, probably straight from the Fed. However, they are not NIFC. That term is reserved for issues that are only available to collectors.

Picked up a box yesterday. They are my main squeeze bank. They said, "Got $50 in CWR, want em? Just so you know, they're all new ones..."

I took one peek and said, "Yeah, I'll take em all and get em outta your hair..." Most tellers don't want them...

Here they are:

1 1/2 rolls 2008 BU Gem
1 roll 2009 BU Gem
1/2 roll 2011 BU Gem

I'm gonna keep em all, and replace my other ones, which I'll offer to Bish first, if not, into the wild they go.

2 boxes left from yesterday.

7 40%ers.

2 boxes tonight.

Box 1 had a 1964, a 40%ers, a 1917P Obverse, and a few NIFC

Box 2 had water damage to it so I was hoping it had been sitting in the corner of the vault forever but it turned out to be a skunk.

Nice walker find. I so wish I could get halves where I live. I'd have to drive almost 50 miles round trip to get them so I just stick to pennies.
