Didn't get my normal 4 box order yesterday and nothing today. Guess the search for silver will continue in the new year with 8 boxes on Friday. Happy new year CRH'ers!!

Just finished 4 boxes today, two were skunks, my first box was a mini monster box, check out the pics of stacked rolls, There were 5 enders between box 1 and 4, three from box 1 were stacked with silver, one roll had 17 pieces and one had 15 pieces of silver. I ended up pulling 7-90%ers and 64-40%ers. I just went over 2000 pieces of silver for the year. I didn't think I was going to make it. I also pulled 2-clad proofs, 76S and 97S, 2-72D No FG, a two headed half, a counterstamp, (MAX B. ROD, Obverse, and M on Reverse. Skunk on NIFC coins these boxes. Hope the photos motivate you all to keep searching.

Got my first $77.50 of half dollars today from a new bank.

Got 19 NIFC coins. Is 12.2% a good percentage for NIFC coins?

Do you save NIFC coins?

Thanks, Domain555

I do not keep track
But my average is about 2-4 a week.
I quit looking earlier in the year (March)and
started looking again in the fall.
One week I found 262,40%, 218 of them were in 1 box
see picture on page 1088.
Two weeks ago I found 60,40% and 7,90% in 2 boxes.
I also got a good share from tellers.

Just finished up 12 boxes from last year, 11 were skunks and 1 produced 2-40%ers, I sure hope that is not what the new year is going to be like. can't panic. lol I did get a nice 98S Clad proof and 1-counterstamped (crown on obverse and a K on the reverse). Wishing you all the best of luck for the New Year. Happy Hunting.

Tuesday I got 2 rolls from a teller and found this 1969s
proof this is the first silver proof I have found.
It has no nicks on the OBV the REV has 2 small nicks and is has a a nice tone to it. Which does not show very well on my
scanner.

WTG Trapper, great find, you put that in a 2X2 quickly. Do you know how many are in circulation on the S mint. I will have to look it up.

Arby/Trapper,

The 1969S is a proof mint not intended for circulation. I'm sure trapper's is one of the very few to be circulated.

According to wikipedia, the mintage is 2,934,731. Congrats on the find.

Thanks for the correction on the verbiage OW, you are correct I should have written mintage not circulation, my bad. Just under 3 million minted this coin should be worth more. Just saying!. I am setting a goal for 1000 Pieces of silver this year. My first 4 boxes for the year will be here Tuesday. Wishing you all the best of luck. Love seeing the pics of you fellow urban miners, looking for that shinny white metal. Hope silver prices soar to $30 per ounce and stay there.

All of them, except 2001, but I still don't know whether I count it as NIFC or not... But since all NIFC are under 20 million mintage, I will keep a roll worth of them at least. Any spares I have I might trade for others I need if I ever find a place that does that. Too bad there isn't coin places like that like there is for those card games that replaced baseball cards.

Looking for mintage and approximate values, I use The Red Book.
Very inexpensive and quick reference!
