Nice finds! Quote: The real treat was finding an 1854-W 10 Centimes piece from France during the reign of Napoleon III That is really nice! I had to look it up, and correct me if I am wrong, but this is a large copper coin about the size of the half dollar.

It is roughly the same size of a half, and it is made of copper, yes.

I know this sounds unreal, but I hit another hoard! I went to the LCS with my son, who's just old enough to go now. l told them about my find, and picked up some bullion. I then went by a bank a block away. I'd found a few 40% there before. The teller had $110 in halves. I thought it was someone's dumped clads. I got one roll, and it had the bank's original name, which they haven't used since about 1979. I opened it, and there was a '68 ender! There were 16 silvers in that roll, 15 of them 40%! Even the clads were all '74 or earlier. True unsearched rolls. I went back in and cleaned them out. They also had $2.50 in loose halves (1 40%) and 7 Ikes, all clad. In total, 41 more 40%, and a '64! What a day, what a week!

Thanks, Jbuck. You said there were more rolls out there. I didn't think I'd find them this fast!

Finished my last 2 boxes of the week today. Those two boxes also had no silver, so the silver skunk streak is now at 4 boxes. Only thing I found in them was (3) 2002-date NIFC, a 1981 and 2000 proof. Went by my other bank this afternoon to pick up the fed boxes, the head teller said she ordered them, but they didn't deliver them. Just got to hope for a better week next week.

Well Jack, at least you can make lemons into lemonade. Use the worthless halves on Project 100k!

Jack, Coinstar gives you Amazon vouchers with no surcharge. If there's anything I need from Amazon, I put the amount in a Coinstar, and don't have to worry about finding a dump bank or rolling them. I then put the voucher on my account, and order what I need.
