Went and dumped coins this morning, picked up 4 more boxes, two of them were skunks, the last two boxes I pulled 2-64D, and 3-40%ers, 1-65, 1-68 and 1-69, plus 2-NCIF. Will pick up 4 boxes tomorrow, hope to find more silver. Wishing you all the best of luck. Keep up the hunt!

jack, great boxes, congrats. Barber is pretty awesome, that cannot be understated. arby, nice to add to the pile. cpc24, nice! I have not found a canadian silver half yet.

First 2 boxes today produced a 40%er, a 1965.

When I went in for the next 2 boxes, I went to the teller next to my regular who was tied up. There was a small stack of halves in the tray and I thought I saw multiple silvers. I asked to buy them, gave her 6 bucks, and netted 1 x 68 and 2 x 64.

When I did the last 2 boxes, 1 1941 walker. So the 12 coins in the tray produced more silver than the 4000 coins from the boxes. I can't complain at all, the tray saved the day!

Skibdib, Those teller purchases are awesome when you can get them. If it wasn't for those last week, with those 21 rolls it would have a total bust for the week. Its just too bad it doesn't happen for often. Wouldn't that be nice. "LOVE THE HUNT!"

My last fed box last week didn't produce any silver, NIFC, or errors. There were several gold and chrome plated coins in it. Last week I ended up with 31 pieces of silver, (2) 90% and (29) 40%.

I picked up 4 Brinks boxes yesterday afternoon and have been through one of them so far. The box had 2 silver enders, 4 total pieces of silver, (2) 90% 1964, (1) 1968D 40%, (1) 1969D 40%. Also found (1) 1976 proof, and (3) 2002-date NIFC. I have to pick up (2) fed boxes this afternoon. Hoping the my silver streak continues. Will update later on.

"OMG" Another 4 boxes with the double enders of bicentennials three of them all the same, at least the last box had other rolls, other than double enders of bicentennials. That last box I pulled 1-64D, 1-65, and 1-66. I thought for sure the Feds would have to re-roll these coins, I am a bit surprised that they reissue hand rolled coins, in loomis rolls and given back to a bank, I have never received a box of hand rolled coins before other then these double enders of Bicentennials. These paper rolls were nasty, dirty and stained rolls and it was obvious that they were gone through and put back in the paper. Sorry for sounding like a big baby but that really sucked today. Its hard to "LOVE THE HUNT!" when you know for sure rolls have already been searched. Still happy with 3 pieces of silver, not a total loss. Thanks for allowing me to vent. I will stop now!.

arby, that is so strange.... cant imagine how an individual would have that many bicentennials to reroll.... they were not new condition were they?

No, this individual unrolls one end of the roll, pushes the coins out and replaces them, There are many Bicentennials in a box so they put one on each end. There were an average amount of bicentennials in these boxes and all were well circulated. Whom ever did this has more time to waste than I do, I am sure glad my banks don't demand rolled coins. They have coin machines so I have more time to search than roll coins. I just don't want to see anymore of these boxes. When I was in Phoenix visiting my daughter, Wells Fargo didn't take loose coins they all had to be rolled, so I would unroll one end, push the coins out, search them and put them back into the same roll I just pulled them from. Its takes a bit more time, I am just glad I don't have to do that here.

Finished my other 3 Brinks boxes for the week. Box 2 was a skunk, box 3 had (4) 2002-date NIFC, and (2) 40%, (1) 1966, (1) 1968D, box 4 had (4) 2002-date NIFC and (1) 40%, (1) 1967. I didn't get by the other bank this afternoon to pick up my fed boxes, but will pick them up tomorrow morning. 1.4629 oz. of silver and counting for the week. I'm still looking for my 1970D (I know it's out there, somewhere) so I can finish my 1964-2015 Dansco set.

Ran by a few local banks today. The first one had only a couple clad halves, but I saw a 90% quarter in the teller tray. I don't know who was more surprised to see it, her or me! She even let me have it. I went to a few more and found two 40% halves, a '65 and '67. Not a bad day.

Picked up my 2 fed boxes this morning and just finished one of them. Only things worth mentioning were (1) 2002-date NIFC and a near perfect 1971D that I can use to upgrade the one in my Dansco. I'll probably search the other box later tonight and will update then, hopefully the next box will be better!!
