On Saturday I picked up 2 rolls of half dollars from the bank while paying the mortgage. No silver, proofs or NIFC, but I did get 1976 P&D and 2001 P&D with sharp reeds & edges. They look as though they were just set free from Mint Sets. The same with a 1972P, it looks as if it was recently struck.
These will go into 2x2's for my viewing pleasure.

Today I called and placed a half dollar order at my summer vacation destination...will visit a town where a buddy of mine is a coin vault manager so I'll be depositing bags, which is a treat for me. Needless to say I'm already looking forward to it. I'll let you know how it goes in about a month :). HH everyone!

Thanks guys! :)
I admit last I looked through boxes at this destination I found only a few keepers, and only about 0.5 silver per box, but I still enjoyed myself, especially given the convenience of depositing bags. I promise I'll treat my buddy the coin vault manager, the bank manager, and all the tellers to a special treat no matter what I find.

The bank had half dollars yesterday! I could only get 10 dollars worth of loose one, I am sure that is all they had, but it was all clad junk.

4 boxes yesterday. 1 clad proof and a 1969 40% silver proof. I had off today so while dumping at a few banks I stopped by my emergency backup bank who stocks a box but I can never make it there on weekdays because of their hours and I only have 1 Saturday a month off. The box had 1 ender. Ended up with 5 1964's and 4 40%ers.

jack, nice recent work here and the franklins and all in between, what a run!
Also, the barber find, those are always amazing.
Keep it up, I hope to get something tomorrow, last week was rough, we will see what happens.

Jack, (5) 1964's and (4) 40%er's is a pretty good box. That's better than I did in 6 boxes last week.
Already looking forward to picking up my 4 Brinks boxes tomorrow, and 2 fed boxes Thursday. Last few weeks my fed boxes haven't had any silver, hoping they will this week.
