So I definitely need to move to wherever Arby lives... lol congrats on the finds! My average is down to 1.12 silver halves per box. At least it is 1 if it goes below then things may have dried up around here...

Thanks, the last two weeks have been good, I was hoping the luck would continue today but once again my third bank called me this morning and said the feds didn't deliver the coins. Which translates to me they forgot once again to order. This is the third time this year. They are messing up my box goal for the year. Oh well Happy 4th of July everyone. I hope you all have a safe weekend, have fun and stay safe, and remember "LOVE THE HUNT!"

MK, my average is half a silver coin per box, so you're doing well!

Now been skunked on silver the last 17 boxes. This box had 6 NIFC including some nice 2014 and 2015's. I think I've now got some 2015's every week for about the last 5 or 6 weeks. There were also 2 proofs a 1986, 2010, and a double headed Magicians coin. A few things are starting to show up, just wish I could find at least one piece of silver to break this awful streak I'm on. 1 more Brinks box to go, and I also picked up 2 fed boxes this afternoon.

I hit the motherload, again, today guys. I'll post a separate thread and pics on here and stuff later on. Went to my dump bank today, to dump my coins off. I asked the teller if she had any halves (I rarely do it at this bank, since there's several half dollar CRHers that go there, but maybe they have since gave up because the teller next to her still had my halves I dumped 3 weeks or so ago). She said she had $32 in halves, and that some old lady came in and said she "googled" the half dollars and found out they were worth nothing. She said she didn't want them back (the teller) so I asked her if I could see the loose ones. Immediately I saw she had $2 in 40%'s on the counter. My mom saw the spark in my eyes, because she was with me this time. She knew immediately they were silver too. I told the teller I'd take them, and I thanked her and left. Went to the car (struggling, because I knew I had another motherload, I had a similar thing like this happen to me in 2013, it's my most popular video on my youtube channel, where I had 2 rolls of 40% halves and $5 loose of them too), I opened the first roll and I knew immediately what I had. The grand total was 62 40% halves from 1965-1969 (mostly 67-69 and some were REALLY nice), and 2 90%'s that somehow got mixed in there. The old woman must have not looked at them and if she googled 1964 half dollar she'd probably have kept them. I was shaking at that point. I also got $125 (12 quarter rolls and a dime roll) after I dumped off my coins there from the money I had got. I usually take that $125 in coins and pay my weekly boxes with it at my other branch down the road. I opened I think the 4th roll, and I was just about to put the coins back in (I thought there was no silver) I heard that sound. I poured them out and it turned out there was a 1950 D Washington quarter (really fine scratches on the obverse, almost looks dug) in the roll. It was a bonus too, so nothing better then free silver :) Only my second silver quarter ever found CRHing in 10+ years, and my first silver quarter (a 1942 D) was just found 3 or so weeks ago. How crazy is that!

Just finished my box. No silver, but I did find a couple of Album upgrades, 4 NIFC, and a 2000 P Struck Through Grease.

seen a 1966 with that unsightly scratch ring that you find on many going across the date area around the coin where the wrapper is rolled. haven't opening any of the rolls of the box yet, but that eye catched is a good start for me.

2 more boxes down, still no silver. 19 silvers skunks in a row. Only thing found in those two boxes were a couple NIFC and a 2009 proof. I'm holding out all my bicentennial halves and going to make a $1000. bag of them. Hoping this will give me some indication of whether I'm looking back through my own coins or not. I figure if I get back boxes without many bicentennials or with mostly bicentennial then it's likely these are coins I've already searched. If anyone in the next few weeks gets a box full of bicentennial coins it's probably thanks to ME!! One more box to go this week. Lately haven't been loving the hunt much.

That is what I did for 10 boxes and found the rate to be 10% bicentennials. Every boxes I had after had them, so I was sure I wasn't seeing the same boxes.
To go with the 1966 ender, the box yielded only 1965~1967 making a total of 4. I think that is my best box to date since most of the others I have found came form CWRs. Compared to the past this box had zero NIFC, but having silver is a great little offset. I am sure I have plenty of time still to find 2012 and up halves.

Thanks Skibdib, glad to hear others are pulling for me. I don't expect silver in every box, but 19 in a row without silver is sure discouraging!! Last box wasn't near the greatest box I ever had, but I'm very well satisfied with it. Silver coins included a variety of things, (3) 40% Kennedy, (1) 1965, (1) 1966, (1) 1968D, (2) 90% Kennedy 1964D, (2) 90% Franklin, (1) 1963D, (1) 1961D, (1) 90% Walking Liberty 1943D and (1) 80% 1961 Canadian. Total silver content, 2.58124 oz, definitely nothing to complain about. Also found (1) 1982 no FG, and (8) 2002-date NIFC. Ended the week on a good box, sure hope it will continue into next week.
