Great box Arby!! Just send that 70D my way, that would fill my 1964-2015 Dansco, I'd even send you a couple sets of 2015 P&D. I'll be going by one of my pick up banks a little later on to pick up 4 Brinks boxes, hope my luck continues from the last box of last week and I don't start on another skunk streak.

I went and made my coin dump today and while at the bank look what I pulled out of the reject bucket of the coin machine, an 1882S Morgan silver dollar, a 1972 Phillpinas 1 Piso coin and a 357 live round. The stuff you can find in these coin machines is awesome, and I still have to check out the 4 boxes I just picked up. Great Start!

$8.50 teller tray halves = skunk

The only good thing about this is that this wasn't CRH money, I was just getting change and 2 dollar bills to use at the farmers market tomorrow since it's a cash-only establishment.

This bank actually had a .22 round go off in its main branch office in the coin machine. Very happy this round did't blowup!. It is amazing the crap that is pulled out the reject box. If you ever get a chance ask your tellers when they change a bag to see if you can look in it. Some will fall into the overflow box in the machine. The manager pulled out the other day a guys first 300 game bowling ring, he found the owner by calling the bowling association, they have a list of every bowler whom has ever bowled an official 300 game over the past 50 years. He was able to locate the owner and return the ring.

Hey guys, relatively new to the community. Going through the forum topics and came across this CRH thing. I have probably read half the 1254 pages of post. I have become really fascinated by what you all are doing and the finds, of course. So I thought I would give it a shot. After going to both of my banks and getting a big NO, I was annoyed. Being self employed/sales, no means yes. This was at the main branch of both banks. So I go to one of the smaller branches and they were glad to sell me some coins. Pick up my first to boxes, took me two weeks to go through them. I wanted to keep everyone of those big coins. Keep in mind I'm just starting to put together sets. No silver was found, but I did find 9 NIFC's. I kept $248 of the $1000 purchase, lol. Sorry for the long story. Just thought it was funny. I'll be broke in about 6 months at this rate. I have two more boxes on the way. Maybe I will find some silver. I think the tellers think I'm crazy, but really who cares. Keep the post coming keeps me fired up.

Welcome to the craziness of hunting for treasure in bank rolls. When I joined the forum I read this whole thread from beginning to end. There are some great finds listed!! Details about my best box thus far are on page 1186. I've been doing half dollars now for about 8 months and have accumulated about 58oz. of silver in halves and a pretty nice 1964-2015 Kennedy business strike set, minus the 1970D, all been pulled from bank rolls except one Franklin that I got from a teller tray. I also have a Walking Liberty and Franklin set started, they are far from complete, but at least they're started.

Arby, I just can't believe your luck. I go on 19 box streaks without silver and you pull silver every week. I think you must be in one of the least searched areas in the US. No wonder you end every post with "Love the hunt"!!

I just finished my first Brinks box of the week. No silver, (3) 2002-date NIFC, (1) 1982 no "FG", and (2) pretty nice rescued proofs a 1971 and a 1973. My back was starting to hurt pretty bad, so I had to get in the recliner and take a break for awhile. I'll probably search another box before going to bed, I'll update later.

Box 2 down, no silver again. Findings were (8) 2002-date NIFC including another 2015D, lately I've been getting these every week, so someone is dumping a lot of them in this area. The 2015D I got tonight may actually be the nicest one I've got yet, very minimal bag marks. I'll definitely have to compare it to the one I have in my Dansco. Other findings in this box was (1) 1980 proof and a 1987D NIFC that looks like it just came out of the mint wrapper, even the upper feathers on the eagles neck are very sharp and the complete crease in Kennedy's neck is present. Still 2 more Brinks boxes to go this week and will get 2 fed boxes tomorrow. For the last few weeks I haven't found silver in any of my Brinks boxes (4 a week), I'm hoping that will change this week. Fed boxes (2 a week) haven't been great, but at least one of them last week produced over 2.5 oz. of silver.
