4 boxes today and all skunks, there was one holed coin that is drilled in the middle of the coin. When I made my dump this morning I missed a magic coin, found it as I was dumping my coins. This one bank has been consistent not producing any silver the past couple of weeks. Good thing I have more than one resource. Nice haul Jack! Remember "LOVE THE HUNT!"

Quote: Makes up a little bit for the 2 90% and 6 40% my wife accidentally used at garage sales this past weekend because I left them in the car... Doh. Sounds like grounds for divorce to me. I picked up 4 more Brinks boxes yesterday and will pick up 2 fed boxes today. I haven't searched any of them yet, wanted to last night, but my back just didn't feel up to it. Hopefully I'll break my silver skunk streak this week.

Just finished up 4 more boxes, I want to start out by stating it is hard to stick with this hobby sometimes when one is in a long dry spell. I have been very lucky lately and it continues. While searching through these boxes I came across a 2009 that I marked with my initials, it wasn't worth keeping so I thought I would mark it to see if I would see it again, I have marked a few of these and one found its way back. Even though that happened, I stilled pulled out 15-90%ers and 10-40%ers, Box three again was the good one, had 2 enders one walker and one franklin. Pulled 1-74D DDO, 2-87P Gems, a bunch of 80's Gems (see pic) 1-04S Clad Proof, 2-Counterstamped 1 with a heart with the $ sign in the middle, and another one of those counterstamped plated Anniversary coins, and 5-NIFC. Here are the years on the 90 and 40%ers, 3 Walkers, 1-43, 1-44, 1-47D, 9-Franklins 1-51S, 2-52, 1-53, 2-58, 1-59D, 1-61, 1-63D, 3-64, 1-65, 4-66, 1-67, 1-68 3-69 and I got a 69 at the tellers window. Its been a crazy lucky month for me, I have been very blessed. I wish you all the best of luck. I just hope when I hit that insane dry spell I remember these days. Please keep posting your finds that too always gives me hope here. I hope my posts do the same for you. Enjoy the pictures. Always try and remember too "LOVE THE HUNT!" Its kind of like Gold Prospecting, every time you go out you may come home empty, I just started doing that and I am 0 for 2. Walker and a Franklin Enders

I finally got around to searching last weeks boxes. Box #1 had 9-40%, 6-90%, and I 64 ender. It also had over 2 rolls of BU 1998-D. I'm thinking someone got a Mint Bag and picked the best ones out then dumped the rest. I noticed that all the rolls containing Silver had coins older than 1988. Seemed odd. All the Silver came from 4 Rolls. The photos were taken before I opened the ender roll. There were some really nice Album upgrades for me also. Sorry for the bad photos. I'm using my phone. I'm in search of a new camera. The old you finally died. With a 20 Month Old Daughter, I really need one soon. I'll search Box #2 tonight and tomorrow night.

I'm trying to get pics but I'm on my phone and it is very difficult to get the image resized and everything.

I searched my first box of the week tonight. Just when I though Brinks was pulling all the silver, (LOL) it hit. After 18 silver skunks in a row, I finally hit pay dirt with (2) 90% a 1956 Franklin with full bell lines, but looks like it's been cleaned (too shiny) and (1) Kennedy 1964. Also out of that box came (1) 1987P, 1982P no FG, (5) proofs (1) 1978, (2) 1980, (2) 1989. There were also (109) 2002-date NIFC, most were 2006's with (53) 2006P and (33) 2006D. There were more 2006's in this box than all the other boxes combined that I've searched since Nov. 2014. I also found a couple 1988 and 1989's that looked like they may have just been broken out of mint sets. Still got 5 boxes to go this week, hope my luck continues, I'm DUE FOR A GOOD WEEK since It's been 3 consecutive weeks dry of silver. I'm thinking with all the NIFC coins this was part of collection dump, but either they didn't have much silver or someone pulled the silver and let everything else go. @arby96, Nice hit!! How much silver have you pulled this month? I know a week or so ago you posted and it was great, but you've have a couple more nice hits since. @Murphy, Nice hit!!

RC, I just checked my numbers, 60-90%ers and 231-40%ers which is approximately 55.86 Troy ounces of silver, and I still have one more day in the month, I still have 2 more boxes to pickup tomorrow, The bank ordered 4 dollar boxes instead of halves but still have 2 boxes of halves on hand. So after I make my dump tomorrow I will pick up the other two boxes, I hoping there is more of this hoard in those two boxes. We will see. Like I said its been an awesome month this July. Thanks to all the well wishers, wish you all the best too! Keep up the hunt and always "LOVE THE HUNT!"

As long as Brinks doesn't start pulling silver from the nickel rolls, I'm alright :)
Since Feb. 2013 I've scored in the neighborhood of around 150-200 silver nickels.

Box 2 down. The silver is still trickling in. This time there were (2) 90%, (1)1964, (1) 1964D, (3) 40%, (2) 1967, and (1) 1969D. The 2006's are still coming, this box had (33) 2006P and (28) 2006D. There were also (11) other 2002-date NIFC. I also got (2) proofs, another 1978 and a 2003. The 1987D was in this box so I got both the 1987 P&D out of this collection. There were also a couple more 1988, 1989, 1990, and 1991's that looked as if they were just taken from mint sets. I hate to stop while I'm on roll with the silver coming in again, but I need to get to bed. I hope taking a break doesn't break my cycle, maybe it will make it better. I'll be glad to keep getting 2006's as long as the silver keeps flowing!! Hopefully the few pieces I'm finding are the tail end of a monster box that I haven't opened yet!! @arby96, your silver finds for just the month of July have been almost as much as I've found since I started searching half rolls in Nov. last year. if you remember, I had 2 boxes the same week that produced about half of mine. Let us know what your total for the month ends up at. Good luck on hitting 60 oz for the month!! I'm fascinated that there's that much silver still in your area of the country. How about I send you a couple thousand dollars and you ship me a few boxes?
