So.... Three 40%, skunk, skunk, three 40%... Not a good pattern setting up for the last two boxes.  Maybe you need just one more box.  |

speaking of 1 more box, I have recently been getting boxes with 2 different stamps, they both run hot and cold. I'm basically picturing the "warehouse" having 2 palates of halves at any time, and they pick off of whichever one is higher and easier to grab... less bending over.
Usually I get 4 of one type, or 4 of the other. I have in the past gotten 2 and 2, and I picture the piles being even in height, explaining why they grabbed from 2 piles.
But today, I got 3 of one #, and 1 of the other. This is the first time I have only gotten 1 of a # stamp. I'm probably wrong and projecting, but I'm gonna guess that 1 was the last one that #. or maybe they have a new strong guy that carried 3 and his skinny buddy took the other 1 and that is why, haha.
anyway, I'm at an odd # of boxes for the year, 163 boxes, since I got an extra box I didnt order one day (it had 17 silvers). I could use another odd pickup day, it burns me up being on an odd #, hahaha. I laugh but I'm serious :-)

Out of 6 rolls I got yesterday I found 48 40% JFK halves. This was from the same chase bank that I got the other silver halves from.

@djx Congrats on a nice haul. If they have more rolls and you don't have the funds to scoop them all up I would be borrowing money from everyone I knew or out front of the bank panhandling for money until I got them all  |

Hello CCF, Cracked 4 boxes this morning, started off very bad 3 box skunk and the 4th box produced 4-40%ers, 4-66 and 1-67. Rescued 3 Clad proofs, 79S someone marred up, 88S and a 08S, Also pulled 4-NIFC and 1-74D DDO. Finding silver is always good and finding a DDO is a bonus. I'd probably just send that 79 proof back to the fed. The '88 and '08 look like they're still in pretty nice condition. Nice to see you're still getting some silver.
djx, you better clean that bank out before someone else finds it and gets all the silver.
I picked up my 4 Brinks boxes this afternoon, but haven't even started searching them yet. Got 2 fed boxes to pick up tomorrow.

4 boxes
Box 1: 1 1964 Kennedy and 3 40% 1968d along with 77s proof, and 5 NIFC
Box 2: 7 NIFC 1980s proof
Box 3: 1 1987 p, 46 NIFC with ww2 memorial stickers on obv, and 40 regular NIFC including 2015 and 8 proofs including 2013s.
Box 4: 8 NIFC
Box 1 had all the silver.....getting 3 boxes from a friend tomorrow hoping for more silver or good clad finds like proofs or NIFC

when you get 4+ boxes at a time, how do you return, dump, whatever all the non-keepers? When I get a box (just one) of halves, I reroll and take $100 at a time in rolls to various "dump" branches so I don't tick off any one branch at any one time. I'd love to have an easier way. BTW, none of the banks/branches I found around here have coin counters--they all have referred me to a coinstar machine for counting.

I have 2 branches of my local credit union within 10 minutes of me I take $1000 or so to each bank through their coin machines which is free to me as a member to use. If I tried to dump all the halves at one bank I'd probably get fined for excessive usage.
