Grime5 Nice 94 pieces of silver that is rocking it. Well the Start of October is no better than September, 4 boxes all skunks, I did pull two GEM's 87 P&D. One thing great about this hobby, there is always next week, I did find two coins I marked before on this search, so I know I am getting coins I have dumped before. "LOVE THE HUNT!"

This week is off to a good start. Box 1 had 2 40% silver, 10 2002-date NIFC and 4 impaired proofs. Box 2 had 5 40% silver, 119 2002-date NIFC that most looked like they just came from mint rolls and 2 impaired proofs. I only got 3 Brinks boxes this week, I'm not sure whether this was an error on the banks part or if the delivery service only delivered 3. Either way she said she'd order 5 boxes next week. I'll go by the other bank tomorrow and pick up my 2 fed boxes. The silver continues to trickle in!

picked up a brinks box today that a teller ordered for me without me really asking... it was a skunk, but I will prob search a few more. Or maybe try to turn them into a dump bank and do more from my main source if they dont work out as a source.
good luck all,

Moorek, first you should have an account at a bank or credit union, Then go ask the manager if they will order half dollars for you. Most banks order from $500-$1000 at a time depends on the bank. Its a good idea not to dump coins at the same bank you order from. Sometimes this can't be helped depending how big of a town or city you live in. Anytime you go to the bank ask if anyone has turned in rolls of half dollars, sometimes you just get lucky and those too will have silver. This hobby is not for the faint of heart, its a lot of work and there are times you will go through many thousands of dollars searching before you pull any silver. Good Luck, Always remember do it for the fun of it and Always "LOVE THE HUNT!"

2 boxes yesterday. Skunked. 2 of the 4 boxes I picked up tonight have some sort of UPC code or inventory code.

They have tape on them too. Might be someone's dump boxes. Are they all from the same company? Looks like Loomis rolls from the pic.

Anyone who has gotten S & S boxes know they are floppy with all of the holes punched in them and S & S wraps are "soggy" and don't peel evenly like Loomis wraps when opening from the side seem. The tellers at BMO have to tape the boxes up when they come because ever since they switched to Garda from Loomis the drivers just throw the boxes around when they come in. The UPC code is under the tape the tellers put on the box.

Picked up two boxes yesterday: Box 1 - 1 40% Box 2 - 4 1964 and 11 40%. Was pleasantly surprised with the second box and even found 2 1964 in one roll! I'm picking two more boxes today and hoping for more silver! Happy hunting!

Last 2 boxed yielded 25 Nifc. The most I've had recently. Mostly 2005 and 2006. There were also 3 Proofs, 1-1985, 1-2000, and 1-2001. And finally for the Silver totals. 3-1964 and 10 40%.
My Wife and I have opened a Business Account at another local Bank and are we going to get 4 boxes from them next week along with the 4 boxes from my regular Bank. The Manager told my Wife they will order as many boxes as I want and I'm welcome to dump them without rolling them. They will supply the bags and I just put $500 in each bag and put my Account number on the bag. I'm hesitant to dump at the same Bank I pick up from.
The Manager is also looking into ordering Ikes. I know it's a long shot, but it's still worth asking the question.

They will supply the bags and I just put $500 in each bag and put my Account number on the bag. I'm hesitant to dump at the same Bank I pick up from. I have to dump at one of my pick up banks. Other banks I HAD accounts with wouldn't take the coins unless I was depositing them into my account, which didn't make sense, because I would constantly be depositing/withdrawing the same funds. My dump bank orders $2K worth of halves for me per week and takes $3K in dumps per week and never complains. When they see me come in with the boxes they open the door to the employee area and I carry the boxes of coins to the back of the bank where the coin counter is. This saves them time by not having to switch the coins from hand to hand and also saves the ladies having to lift and carry the boxes. I figure the more I do for them the better my chances of staying on their good side. By dumping with the same carrier I get coins from I may get some of my own coins back from time to time but I don't think it's happening much. My only issue with your arrangement would be putting my account number on the bags. One bank I used for a dump bank required me to put my name/phone number on the rolls and I received a call from someone that had picked up some of the rolls at the bank. This same bank had wanted me to put my account number on the rolls, but I refused. If I had who knows who would have ended up with that information. I would want to be assured the account number would go no further than the bank and would still be very hesitant.
