I also found a 2014 Half dollar in one of those rolls. Didn't realize new ones were still being minted.. New ones are still being minted annually, but the number minted each year since 2002 has been only a few million from each mint. Anything 2002-date was not issued for circulation, and were only available to buy directly from the US mint. Often people buy mint rolls or bags and search for the best coin(s) and release the others into circulation. Many roll searchers including myself keep 2002-date halves because of the low numbers minted. They're not likely to have any significant value in my lifetime, but who knows what the future value will hold for my grandchildren/great grandchildren. Even if they never appreciate in value they'll still be worth $ .50 each. |

did good today, 2 of these boxes seemed to be continuation boxes from my great walker box earlier this year. same stamp #, lack of 40%ers. either way, finished with
box1: 64 BU, 3 x 40%
box2: 50p ben, 1 x 40%
box3: 5 walkers (34p, 41d, 43p, 43d, 46), 52d ben,
box4: 2 walkers (42p, 44p), 62d ben
total haul: 11 x 90%, 4 x 40%. 7 walkers, 3 bens, a 64, and 4 x 40.

Hey CC Family, cracked 4 boxes this morning that I picked up last night, 3 boxes were skunks and check out what I pulled out of box 4, 2 of the rolls were MEGA ROLLS, 3 rolls were enders, I ended up with 7-90%ers, 3-64 and 4-64D's, 27-40%ers, 3-66, 6-67, 9-68, and 9-69's, also pulled 2-Clad Proofs, 1-88S and 1-96S. 4 boxes this week box 1 had 3 enders found 17,40% & 2,90% 1964 box 2 had 1,40% & 1,90% 1964 box 3 had 1,40% a 50 pence and a gold plated counter stamped box 4 was a skunk  |

I got 4 boxes today
Box 1 got me 6 40% and a few NIFC
Box 2 was a skunk
Box 3 was even better with 13 40% and a few more NIFC
Box 4 was a skunk.
I will post pics of my Decent finds tomorrow. Ran out of good light to take pics. Best haul in a while. Definitely ordering more boxes for next week. And to think before my final box last week I was considering taking a break, definitely not happening now after the haul I got today

Trapper, nice results for you as well! I have not found a 50 pence yet.
And Alpha, 19 silvers is pretty great too! well done all!
I have 2 more tomorrow, hoping they have something, anything. Would not want to be greedy and hope for too much :-)

Sorry no pictures. I got my 3rd barber today a 1908, 5 walkers, 1 ben, 7 1964, and (10) 40% out of 8 boxes.
Only one ender a 69 in one box.

HH, I have only found two Barbers so far, that is awesome. After my post this morning I picked up 4 more boxes all were skunks. Those are the last for the month. October was very nice to me with 26.8 ounces of silver. A total of 30-90%ers and 92-40%ers. Love to see all of you that are scoring silver. Wishing you all the best in November, hope you all have a wonderful Halloween, Love this time of year, get to go out and scare the minions, but its much more fun to scare the adults. lol "LOVE THE HUNT!" 2 boxes from yesterday. Box 1 had a 1964 ender. That was it in the whole box  Same as last Friday. 1 box had an ender and that was the only silver in the whole box If you average 2 silvers per box (40% or 90% combined) that odds of finding 1 silver ender only in a box is like 1 in 12,500 or something like that (1000 coins per box / 2 silver per box) * (50 rolls per box / 2 ends per roll) Box 2. Found a 40%er in the first roll. Thought it would be the start of a good box. It wasn't until the 4th from last roll that I found a 1964. Edited by jack jeckel

I asked my wife to go to the bank where I found the CWR'S last Friday with silver. He gave her 1 roll, this is what was in it.  |
