I am so jealous of all of you. I haven't got more than one silver without going through at least 5 boxes. Where are you all located? Central Minnesota here. I've tried different banks (but all Wells Fargo). Does changing banks matter? Or does it all come from the fed regardless of the delivery company?

Wrestling_135, I can only tell you my experience, I Pickup from 3 different banks/credit unions, I dump all coins at the credit unions, Coins I have marked have shown up at both banks I don't dump at. I believe where I live which is in New Mexico they use the same fed building That is the only way I can explain it. One bank and one credit union have the same loomis boxes, and 1 bank has the short square boxes that have double stack rolls in them from Miracle, and I have coins show up in those boxes too. That is my guess.
Are you buying more than one box at a time? Its much more difficult to score silver buying one at a time. Many times out of 4 boxes only one will contain silver and sometimes all of them are skunks, so its a huge numbers game. I would suggest to anyone trying this hobby, if they can put aside $2000. and purchase 4 boxes at a time, then recycle those to purchase other boxes replacing what you pull out. This is a roller coaster ride, lots of ups and downs. Good luck.

You have just admitted you are the devil (at least according to the armchair quarterback Monday morning roll searchers) My record is getting the same coin back 7 or 8 times Luckily they only hang around for a year so get shipped off to some other district but t always brings back memories when you find a coin you let go 3 or 4 years ago and have to do the math to figure out when you let it go and ask yourself how you can get the same coin 3 times in 5 months but this one has not surfaced once in over 4 years.

I really wanna get into bulk searching halves it's my dream to find a walker or Franklin in a roll. I just gotta find the right bank that will allow me to order boxes. Maybe some day I'll have the same problem as you guys with getting back coins you have already searched.

Last week I got 21 boxes total, only found 1 90% and 1 40%, finding a franklin or a walker seems impossible, we have crh so much that we probably pulled out every single silver half from circulation.

Box for the week was a negatory on the silvers. It was weird though this time it had the yellow wrapped coins rather than the black I normally have.

Mangemajambes, I was wondering how productive your big order was. Sorry it wasn't more fruitful. I and many others know the feeling :(

Jack, yep its me, What is great about using a sharpie is that using 90% Alcohol takes the marker right off without damaging the coin, just squeeze a little on a cloth and wipe off, one will never know it was there. No one will ever know the coin was cleaned.

Skid 10 boxes is a good week of fun, my wife just started assisting in the hunt. I get 10 but we could use another 6 to fill the week in. Good luck to all

2 boxes on Thursday. Each had 1 40%er and a couple of NIFC. Also found a proof. Stopped at the bank across the street from Walmart where I spent a lot of halves at and they had $94 worth. 90% of them were the ones I spent at Walmart as well as other places around town but I am pretty sure that is where they came from. This is the second time I have gotten a large number of my coins back from this branch.
