Quote: 8 Walkers in a box?! That's amazing! Thank you Numisma... I was kinda in shock too as the most walkers found in a box prior to this was 4 so it put a smile on my face not to mention all the other silver pulled. Quote: yes it is! any interesting dates on those walkers?
nice score from 6 boxes chettieyy! Thank you Skibdib... Here are the dates of the walkers that were found in this haul.. 1936s, 1935s, 1934s, 1935d, 1934, 1936, 1937, 1938.... From the silver that came out of this haul I suspect it may have been a small collection dump possibly as I found everything from 90% to 40% a few proofs and even some nifc including a 2012 and 2015d hole fillers for my kennedy album... hoping next weeks boxes and bags produce some great finds as well.... Good luck to you all and hope you find lots of silver in your boxes.. Remember > Love the hunt :-)

This happened a little over a month ago for me, but it inspires me to continue looking through halves: Ended up with 8 silver proofs (4x 2005-S, a 2007-S, 2008-S, 2010-S, and the best one: 2012-S), a 1942-S Walker, 1951-S Franklin, 1958-D Franklin, 2x 1963-D Franklin, 4x 1964 JFK, a 1965 40%er, 2x 1966 40%ers, and 9 clad proofs... from $50 worth of halves. I've never found that much good stuff and with as bad as my area is, I doubt I ever will again.

Awesome finds lately arby.... congratulations to you as well... I must say I love seeing the finds from all of us fellow crh'ers... Its a beautiful sight to see all that beautiful silver posted here... This is by far one of my favorite threads to follow as it always keeps my spirits up there knowing ppl are still pulling silver not to mention all the positive support in this thread... Keep up the great work my friends as I love checking out new posts and Thank you arby as I agree it was a nice score especially for my first search in awhile as I handy had a consistent source for some time.. Hopefully it continues for me and for all of you as well..Love the hunt!!! Quote: Chet, awesome score, you too Skidbid you didn't disappoint with those photos. I finished up four boxes today, 2 skunks, 2-90%ers 1-43 Walker, 1-51 Franklin, and 1-67, and one gold plated Shmukhead gold plated coin. I think I will try acetone and get that sticker off. Gold plating looks in good shape. So reached my goal plus 1 for the week with 4 boxes to open tomorrow. Two of my coin machines are down, I hope they will be fixed by tomorrow. Those boxes I picked up yesterday with that one roll with 8 pieces of silver, I am praying next week some more will show up. That is the same bank I pulled 250 from last month, so I hoping there are more out there. Glad to see the silver river flowing. Hope it keeps up for all of you.
Can't beat a Walker and a Benny in one roll.

Hey Boris, you have to show us some pics of those proofs, those reeds look awesome! Great finds as well even if it was a month ago. Chet I agree with you this is my favorite thread as well. Everyone here is great and the support is awesome. When I have bad weeks this thread keeps me motivated with all the wonderful pics other post. I received a phone call from Lear Capital yesterday and they wanted me to invest in more silver, I told him I invest in silver everyday for a lot less money. I let him know I purchased over 800 ounces of silver for under $2000.00 He thought I was crazy!

avg per box varies per area, but any time it is not a skunk, it is a good thing :-D
