I cashed in some dimes today and I ask the teller got any halves she said yes I have a box. I asked unopened she said yes, I said I'll take the whole box but she would only sell me $400. So she let me remove 10 rolls I made sure there was no enders. I found 8,40% and 2,90% both 1964 in that $400. that saved the week for me. I cannot help but wonder what was in the 10 rolls I removed. My wife went to the bank to buy them but they were already gone. Report this Post to the Staff

skibdib Pillar of the Community United States 1157 Posts	Posted 10/30/2016 7:36 pm Friday was very nice, 4 boxes, 1 skunk. box 1: 1 x 64, 8 x 40% box 2: 8 x 40% box 3: skunk box 4: 2 x 1962, 6 x 1964, 9 x 40% box 4 had 2 90% jfk enders. one obverse, one reverse. this plus a silver dollar a teller sold me today for a buck, October ended up much more decent. chettieyy Valued Member United States 297 Posts	Posted 10/31/2016 5:08 pm Well didn't have much luck for silver in this weeks 4 boxes however I did manage to find quite a few impaired proofs which must of been left overs from last weeks finds as I found silver and proofs last week as well (probably small estate dump) and also one of the tellers at my pickup bank was nice enough to grab and transfer 25 ike's from a bank she was covering at the weekend prior so it still turned out to be a great week despite not finding any silver.. here are some pics of the impaired proofs and good luck to all on your hunts. Hopefully this weeks boxes on thursday will provide me with some more silver :-) Here are the ike's as well.. arby96 Pillar of the Community United States 2111 Posts	Posted 11/02/2016 1:06 pm My first four boxes for November were good, My first coin was a prayer coin, very cool, that box was a skunk, my next 3 boxes yielded me 6-90%ers, 3-Franklins, 3-Kennedys' 1-51S, 1-58D, and 1-61D, 3-64's, also, 8-40%ers, 1-66, 4-67, 1-68, 2-69. Just when I think things are going sour the bank that has skunked me for about 5 weeks comes through. Very happy to the start of November. Skibdib awesome score, you too Chet. "LOVE THE HUNT!" That token must be good luck, thats a great find :-) chettieyy, nice finds this week, keep up the great hunting! there is no telling what you can find :-D I got my 8 boxes today that did not arrive yesterday. They were delayed. 5 skunks, but the other 3 gave up 24 x 40% and 2 x 1964, so it was a nice haul! One box gave up 20 pieces including both 90%ers and was a continuation from last Friday. Glad the box was still around this week. Makes me wonder what I might have missed, but I cant complain. I normally would only have 4 boxes at this point, but one branch doubled up due to mishap last week with no boxes. So hopefully I still have 8 more this week. It puts a real strain on the pickup and dump system when things get delayed and whatnot. good luck to all searching out there! Report this Post to the Staff
