Arby, apparently the coin courier in your area is practicing "first-in, first-out", which is very disappointing.

Well not happy for sure, This week was not good, one piece of silver this week in halves, I also picked up 4 boxes of dimes today, I thought I would give them a try, One box was a skunk the other 3 yielded me 7 pieces of silver. 1-47, 1-50, 1-50D,1-52, 1-60D, 1-62D, and 1-64D. That was nice to find some silver in the dimes. I sure hope my next week is better. Trapper awesome score. Nice numbers. Hope those other boxes are as good. Berto I dumped at that bank again today what a mistake, The manager was in a meeting and I took a chance and lost $9.50, I didn't dump the second bag there took it to my other bank. So that machine is dead to me until I know for sure its been fixed. The 47 Dime is the nicest one top of the half in the picture. Good luck everyone.

nice arby, and that is a good amount of dimes for 4 boxes. Ive done 7 dime boxes this year and only got 2 rosies in the 7th box.
I'd avoid that shorting machine as well until resolved. Just not worth it.
I did 4 boxes today, 1 skunk
box 1: 1 x 40% box 2: 6 x 40% box 3: skunk box 4: 1 x 1964, 1 x 40%
a nice little haul, keep on stackin. Good luck all,

Stopped at the silver mine today! Local bank had 10 rolls CWR, short story, 2 90% '64's, 20 40%! One roll had double enders + 2 more inside. Was expecting a Christmas dump, but to busy transporting an Amish carpenter crew to check the bank until today! Best 10 rolls ever! Webekin

Quote: The disheartening part is one of the coins I marked last week was a ender in one of the rolls, I also marked that coin in July of last year, I am really surprised to last weeks coin so quickly Been there, done that, got screwed as well. I think I have narrowed down the suspect bank and since I have to work 6 days a week except for 1 Saturday a month which is when the anomaly can occur I may have to take one for the team. The real twist / roll hunting revelation / knowledge for the mislead masses is the dump banks that got the coins were on a Saturday were 2 branches of BMO who now us use Garda and I got the coins back on the next Tuesday from Chase who uses Loomis. While there are rumor online about "insert carrier here" is culling silver and there are FED rolls and so on I can tell you after 5+ years in the game you are your own worst enemy. There is no bank conspiracy. There is no currier culling silver conspiracy. Brinks rolls are no better than Loomis rolls or Garda / S & S rolls. Garda will even deliver Loomis wrapped boxes. Which leads me to my unsubstantiated conclusion. ALL OF THE COIN IN YOUR AREA GOES TO A CENTRAL BANK BRAND VAULT.From there it is divided amongst the different brand curriers and the different bank brand branch demand. That is why the dump at a Garda bank so when you pick up at a Loomis branch to avoid getting your own dump back DOES NOT WORK. Even if by some full moon reason I am wrong even if you dump at Garda banks and pick up Loomis banks the guy who hunts at Garda banks and dumps at Loomis will hand you your coins right back. Further insight tomorrow.

That's where everyone starts, I was there to before. My first Ben was a bender, and it was the only Ben in the box! My 2nd and 3rd bens were also enders in another box.... and they were the only bens in that box too! I got so busy I didn't post my first Ben find... a 1962-D last week. And wouldn't you know it was a Bender! In total, the two boxes purchased the past week each yielded 1 90% and 1 40%... the first box also had 9 proofs and 26 NIFCs... the second box no proofs and 6 NIFCs.

Haven't posted in here since right after christmas as schedule has been crazy hectic.. I did manage to pick up my first batch of boxes for 2017 in the 2nd week of janruary as I was out of town the week prior and luckily my tellers love me and saved me some rolls of quarters and dimes that an older lady had brought in a few days before I picked up my boxes last week.. So last friday I picked up my 4 boxes of halves and 5 rolls each of quarters and dimes.. I was very excited to see they were old style rolls and my heart got to racing but tried to remain calm. Ok before I get to that I figured I would tell ya my totals for 2016.. They are not even close to some of you in comparison but only searched consistently for half the year due to financial restrictions but was very happy to have pulled a total of 92.4 troy ounces out of circulation.. Ok onto my last pickup of halves and rolls of quarters and dimes... Enjoy the pic, as I thoroughly enjoyed opening them all and what a start to the new year it was for me.. Sorry if I'm a bit excited I have never gotten lucky on anything but halves. Breakdown:Halves= x2 1964, x2 1966, x9 1967, x8 1968, 1969 Quarters= 3x 1959D, 1962D, 1958D, 1956, 1937, x3 1963, x2 1964, 1961D Roosevelts= 1962D, 1964D, x3 1964, 1956, 1961, 1947, 1946, Barber= 1893 (cull but still a barber and my earliest dated coin ever found in circ) Mercs= x2 1941, 1939, 1920, x2 1943, 1944, 1943D, 1937, 1944 Can't wait to pick up my boxes today and hopefully have some more luck. Also wanted to say Congratulations to Arby, Skibdib, Trapper, JackJeckel, Berto, John1, and anyone else I may be missing.. You all have had some outrageous finds as of the last month and I have enjoyed seeing the pics of all your great finds... Hope the silver streak continues for all of us android luck on your future hunts.. I will report back after I finish this weeks pickup of boxes.. Wish me luck

jack everything you said I agree with 100 percent, been roll searching for almost 10 years and I came up with the same conclusion many years ago, doesn't matter if you get garda boxes and dump back to loomis etc you "will" still get your own coins back, can be as little as one week or 1 month or 5 months even. I used to experiment and receive garda boxes and used to dump at another bank that used garda as well and I always found more silver than say dumping where brinks/loomis picks up. years ago when I first started I believed like a lot of people did that each carrier had their own depots and didn't share the coin with the others now I know that isn't right (at least that's my opinion) I do think as you do it goes to a central location
