Congrats to everyone whose been able to find something older than 1971! I went through a box (1000 coins) two weeks ago and found a 1982-P w/ no FG (sent off to get graded) but that was it. I did another box this past Wednesday and found nothing older than 1971. I'm in Detroit. I also read that many money suppliers like Brinks, run coins through machines and they catch the silver ones. Not sure if this is true but that might be why I haven't found anything older than 971.

Shotgung, I believe only a few coin couriers throughout the country use equipment that removes silver coins as the coins are rolled. Hopefully, you aren't in one of the areas serviced by one of these couriers. Good luck.

Trapper Fantastic Score, Webkin also a very nice score as well as Silvereagle. I took the week off and visited the Jerome Grand Hotel in Jerome Az. Did a ghost hunting tour with me wife. This Hotel is awesome absolutely Beautiful. We did pick up a interesting sound on a digital recorder. Back to the grindstone tomorrow.

Quote: I'm in Detroit I am in the area as well, and I have ordered boxes on a few occasions. I have never gotten silver in a box. I have gotten about 20 pieces from CWR (customer wrapped rolls) and loosies in teller trays. My box from last week produced nothing but a 1985 S Proof, which I threw back in.

Just finished my first 4 boxes for this week, 2 skunks, I pulled 5-40%ers, 1-67, 1-68, and 3-69's, I also pulled my first 2017 6-P's 2-D's. This year coins came quick I didn't see 2016's until August last year. I should be getting some extra boxes this week since I didn't get any last week. We will see what happens.
