4 boxes from yesterday. All 4 boxes were full of uneven S & S rolls. Some had a little as $9 worth of halves in them. Dumped them today and found out I was shorted $7. Found 1 40%er, a proof, a gold plated counterstamped, a 1982 no FG, and a couple of NIFC. Picked up a box from my emergency bank today and other than a couple of NIFC skunked.

Searching is sucking right now, another 4 boxes skunked again. What else is there to state about that! This blog needs silver postings not skunks lol. Good Luck everyone. Sorry to the team it won't happen again. Didn't think that word would be an issue. My apologizes again.

Bottomline: Too many people are searching halves and not enough people are ignorantly depositing silver halves.
When ignorant folks deposit silver halves sniping tellers further decrease the number of silver halves that make it into boxes.
How long one keeps searching boxes of halves when the finds are near zero is an individual decision. We all have our own "breaking point".
I think many on this site would agree arby, Trapper, and Jack are the most persistent!

My apologizes to CCF for stepping over the line on my last post. Won't happen again. Just finished up my last four boxes for the week, only two skunks this round. I pulled 2-64's one of each, 1-67, and 2-68's. 32 boxes in the past two weeks 11 pieces of silver. Better than nothing that is for sure. There is no give up as of yet, I think if I hit 100 skunks in a row I may consider taking a break. LOL

Received my normal 2 boxes every other week last Friday, box 1 had 2 pieces of silver, both in roll #24, 1967 and 1968. Box 2 was a bust. Will get two more in two weeks. While cashing in the one older box, a gentleman ask for rolls, he got a roll of halves CWR, 2 rolls of Susan B's, and 5 Ikes. Before she put the Ikes back in the safe, I ask if she had more, yes say she. So I purchased 20 for my wife who thinks they are "cool". We now have 164 Ikes in the safe. Webekin

I found one 1947 walking liberty in my boxes. I suppose I'm happy!
