JFK Half Dollar Roll Hunters: Silver, Proofs And Other Finds

1500+ pages in and I still love seeing and reading about every find.

2 boxes from Friday: a couple of NIFC, a proof, and a beat up 1974D DDO.

4 boxes from today: 2 40%ers (one was a 1970D), a couple of NIFC, and a 1982 no FG.

Well its been bit of an expensive week, Computer Crashed Monday, so had to purchase a new one. It arrived yesterday. So I searched 12 boxes this week, 10 skunks, I ended up with 1-65, 1-66, 1-67, 1-68 and 1-69,. 1-83 Counterstamped D with $ inside of it, 2-NIFC 08P's, 2-74D DDO'S and 3-Gem 87P's. I would mostly likely find more of these types of coins if I moved away from Edge Checking Coins, I must say By Edge Checking I found the 87P and 74D DDO's and I would put them in the near AU condition. I was at a local coin shop today and this individual walked in to sell a 10 ounce bar of Silver, The owner was not there so the clerk asked him to come back, I walked out after him and purchased it myself. Good timing!

stoped by the bank I get my weekly box of halves from and the teller said I have some halves you might want.she went and got some out of the coin bag.walking libertys and franklins were everywhere.i said I would very much like them.she went back and got some more. I ended up with 17 walking liberty 23 franklins and 12 1964,s and 1 1965.she said there were more in the bag but she couldnt check today.i told her 1970 and older so she is going to check the rest for when I go back tuesday.hopefully I will get some more tuesday.best haul ive had in a long time

The key to keeping your relationship with your bank good is to "take everything they have" off of their hands regardless of whether you see a bunch of junk when they pull it out or not because they do not want them because the public does not want them. If you start picking and choosing soon they will just tell you that they do not have any and ship them all off to the carrier so that they don;t have to pick through them for you or worse yet wise up to what you are looking for and beat you to the silver.
