Monday my daughter pickup my 2 boxes from last
Friday. Box 1 first roll had a 1968D, roll 16 had another '68 and roll 36 had a '67 and another 68. Not bad 4 40% from a box. Box 2 no silver, but my second 1982 no "FG", and another 1987 P, in excellent condition. So all in all, living the dream. Webekin

Thanks Jbuck, how are things going with you? Webekin nice score and silver eagle nice trio of 64's. I picked up 4 boxes today didn't get to them though, will be a project for the morrow. Hope everyone has an awesome weekend. I was thinking about all of our good luck and was wondering if any of you would be interested in donating 2 pieces of silver for Texas? 40's or 90%ers? I was wondering how many CRH would be interested in doing something like that. When one thinks about it one dollar face value which it cost is twelve dollars silver value or almost 6 dollars silver value for 40's. Does anyone think CCF will take up that process? If all 96 thousand members donated 2 90%ers thats 1.1 million dollars to Texas relief. That is powerful. Just a thought.

Good Job Man2004, Well I just finished the four boxes I picked up from yesterday, 2 skunks, I pulled 1-66, 1-67, 1-68, and 1-69. Seven pieces of silver for the week. Not Awesome but good enough to keep me interested. Hoping to reach my goal of breaking 5000 pieces before the end of this year. If I can get back to 10 pieces a week its possible. We will see what happens. Wishing you all the best of luck, may you all be blessed with much silver. Its fun finding silver and its also work and one should be rewarded for hard work. To continue to do this day after day and week after week takes commitment and everyone here has that. So don't give up keep at it. Have a wonderful weekend everyone.

This week I found 23 40% and 7 90%. 2 were 1964 and the other 5 were bennies! Some of the Benjamin's are in excellent condition! I posted a picture of the 90%. Enjoy!

Searched $40 of CWR. Found no silver, one NIFC (2010-D) and a clad Kennedy that looks like it might have been someone's pocket piece.

I flirted with my local bank teller (hey, whatever works) the last time I went to the SDB until she offered to call me whenever she got a full bag of halves. At first I thought they were $500 but then later (my next visit) she told me they were $1,000 bags. How much does one of those weigh, anyway?

I know I could do the math, but I bet someone on this thread knows straight away.

Kind regards,

George

I can tell you that they are heavy! I put a $1000 in each bag when I take mine back. And I carry one bag in each arm so I only have to make 2 trips! But yes they are heavy! I estimated that a box of $500 weighs 20-25 lbs. so I'd say a 1000 dollars would weight close to 50.
