Fantastic hcmusicguy score how many boxes did you search to get those 53 pieces of silver. So I just finished up 6 boxes today with 4 of them skunks, found 3 pieces of silver, 1-64, 1-68, 1-69. Only need three more to reach my weekly goal of 10 pieces. Well, we will see what happens Tomorrow.

Thought I would share this bizarre find from a junk box. I bought 20 random USA Kennedy 50cts and when I brought them home, then went through them. I found this double headed 1996 coin in the lot. I only paid 75 cents for it.

Chad, it's likely a Magician's coin. I found a 2013 like it last week. Mine comes apart and is magnetic on one side.

Nice finds everyone. I ordered my 1st 2 boxes and they should be in on Friday. I went CRH about 10-11 hours over Mon., Tues., & Wed. I found a ton of halves at 2 different banks along with singles to 2-3 rolls at others. Ended up with over $580 in halves between Mon. & Tues. that included 3-1964's, 1-1967, & 1-1968. On Wed. I found over $640 in halves (almost $600 at 1 bank from 3 different customers). The days haul included 1-1964, 5-1966, 8-1967, 9-1968, & 2-1969. I also found 11-2013 P that look brand new. Held up the line for a while at Wed. bank as teller was covering customers account numbers on rolls before giving them to me. Not sure next day I can go CRH, but if I have a free hour or 2 you know what I will be doing...lol. Happy hunting everyone.

My bad...looked at wrong dates on calendar...went Wed-Fri....was wondering how I went CRH on Monday while visiting my parents at their house...lol. Little tired/wiped out from going through everything. The Friday (instead of Wed.) score came from 3 separate tellers who were giving them to the teller I was blocking. 1 teller had 4-rolls (a few 40%), my teller had 21-rolls (gave the 1-1964 only in those). The 3rd teller had 34 rolls and $8.50 loose. The bulk of the 40% came from these). Curious if any of the case hunters also go out hunting as well looking for those dumped collections/hoards? I'm super new into this as I have said, but I'm also super into the hobby as well. Found a coin show coming up at the end of the month. Looking forward to going to my 1st show. Have had trouble finding any local area/surrounding towns coin shops. This should help me know more about whats around here hobby wise. Happy hunting all.

ImTBM, I occasionally order halves locally, but almost always place orders when I plan out of state travel because my finds in boxes of halves out of state have far exceeded my finds from local boxes. I routinely stop at banks in my town and ask for customer rolls.

TY for the post Berto. I have been doing the customer roll hunt, and have had great luck outside of finding 2 coin dumps = just over $1250 in halves. I have opened 2 boxes already, but they were already at the bank as they had accidentally ordered them. I went to the bank today to get some cash and they had 4 halves including my 1st 1987. I have found examples of Walking Liberty, Benji's, & all the different silver Kennedy's (except for the 1970). I am going to try and stop at a few banks tomorrow, but I wont be out long if I do...hoping to hit 4-5 close banks going home a different way than normal. Hopefully going home the long way on purpose pays off.

Benniers are always good Arby. I went CRH today and have about $400 in a mix of customer & bank rolls. I did go through my loose coins and found the silver Ike & Kennedy from the 76 set. Both of those silver coins are my 1st for each. Will LYK how I do once I go through the rolls. Happy Hunting everyone.
