I did not know that. I've asked a few different times on what to look for with half dollars and no one ever mentioned that lol
Why don't his 1987's have an S mint then?

S mint's are only proofs (at least for newer half dollars). 1987 is just a low mintage year, just like 2009 is for other coins. I hope that I could help you figure this out.

I had a bunch of 1987's and sold them each for 5.00... If you can find a 1975 Keep that one. ha

Ok, 2 boxes as usual, every two weeks. Box 1 had 1-64, 2-63, 2-67,1-66, 1-69. And some S Proofs, plus a colorized Pope John Paul. Box 2 had 1-67, and a 2001S Silver, my first 90% silver proof found roll hunting. Also several more S proofs, not all of them in nice condition.    Happy new year to all, Webekin |
