I went and picked up a box today from my backup bank, It was a fun box to open, it had a little bit of everything. 4-Enders, 1-Silver and 3-Proofs, 87 P&D don't always find them in the same roll next to each other, What are those odds? 18-Clad Proofs, 3-71, 3-76, 1-77, 1-78, 2-79, 2-80, 2-81, 3-82, 1-84. 9-GEMS, These coins are in wonderful condition for finding them in circulation, 1-71, 1-74, 1-78, 1-80, 1-84, 3-89. For the creme dela creme, 11 pieces of silver, 1-41 Walker, 1-50D Franklin, 2-64, 2-65, 2-66, 1-67, 1-68, 1-69. I truly enjoyed that box. Awesome ending to a week.

Awesome finds and congratulations cabowabo! That 1951 Ben Franklin half dollar is worth melt value at least.

Quote: Made a few stops on Friday picked up these 40% and the Ben with a hole in his head. Also got this OBW Bicentennial roll. This is the ninth one that I have gotten from different banks. Poor Ben! Nice finds though! Quote:That 1951 Ben Franklin half dollar is worth melt value at least. Melt minus a smidge.

Another skunk start to the week, yes 4 box skunk, I think this year I will see a lot of these. Just have to keep going. If I get 100 box skunk streak I think I will stop for a while. We will see. Good Luck everyone.

Dropped the wife at the mall, went for an eye field of vision test. Then to the bank next door. I stop here every time I'm in town. The teller ask what do I want today? Ikes says I, and SBA's and half's. She has 1 Ike, and $8.00 in half's. Other teller says looky here, she has 11 Ikes, and $9.00 in halves. The guy manning the drive up has $8.00 in halves. So 12 Ikes = 1-'71D, 5-76, 2-77D and 1 P, then 1 78D + 2 78P. And one of the halves is a 1969 D. Overall very happy. Oh, and today a trip to Chanute for my normal 2 boxes. Webekin

Jbuck I believe you are correct, I have had a good run, skunks for sure seem like the new normal, today another 4 boxes. Loomis had changed to gold and white wrappers and today all four boxes had the yellow and white, I was hopeful when I saw them, I have had better luck with those yellow and white wrappers, not today. Good luck everyone!
